Mangalya Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha Pune 28 has started Samata Junior College in the year 2008 at Padegaon, Tal. Khandala, Dist. Satara with the approval of Other Backward Bahujan Welfare Department, Government of Maharashtra. Class XI and Class XII Arts and Science classes were started. Samata Junior Colleges has a sanctioned number of 80 residential students. Residential and non-resident students are admitted in Samata Junior College. There are eight teachers working for Samata Junior College. Two cook, Maid-Servant and a Worker(Kamathi) is working for the Hostel department.

A separate and well equipped building is available for Samata Junior College hostel. Along with education, attention is paid to various competitions, examinations, sports competitions and the overall development of the students. There are separate classrooms for Junior College. It has Benches, Library, Computer Room, Sports Room, Sports Room, Staff Room, Headmaster Room, Office and Independent Laboratories for Physics Biology Chemistry. .Pure drinking water of RO is provided. 

In Samata Junior College Hostel, Students are provided with bedding, cot mattress, pillows, satranji sheets / blankets, food utensils, plates, bowls, educational materials, textbooks, books, pens, strips, pencils, sharpeners, compass bags, etc. Students are provided with two school uniforms as well as haircuts, oil, soap, toothpaste, first aid, entertainment and sports equipment. Alternative electrical systems, CCTV etc. for security. Pure drinking water of RO is provided.

Government of India Scholarship Scheme is applicable to Backward Class Students. Rajshri Shahu Maharaj Merit Award is applicable to Backward Class Students for Class XII in Samata Junior College. State and National Sports Scholarships are available for sports students with 5% marks for Class XII and 5% reservation for Class XI admissions. Samata Junior College has a bright tradition of Class XII  HSC Board Examination Results. Also, in many competitions conducted by the sports department, the students of the ashram school have won many prizes at the district level as well as at the state level.
