Late Ananda Dhondiba Suryawanshi founded the Mangalya Shikshan Prasarak Sanstha, Pune-28 in the year 1980 with the noble aim of providing quality education to the nomadic deprived castes and tribes, Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes as well as Other Backward and Special Backward Classes.  The Samata Primary Ashram School was first started at Lonand under the then Social Welfare Department of the Government and the work of bringing the children belonging to the nomadic deprived castes and tribes as well as the destitute into the mainstream of education was started by the organization.

Considering the need for further education after class VII, Samata Secondary Ashram School has been established since 1993 to provide education to the underprivileged sections of the society and to ensure the future life of those students. To date, the school has maintained a bright tradition of SSC and HSC examination results by providing basic and good facilities to the students along with education to enhance the interest in education in them and to survive in the age of competition and to create capable citizens of tomorrow. Late Ananda Dhondiba Suryawanshi started a dormitory for Backward Class children under the Zilla Parishad Social Welfare Department from 1988 onwards.

The institute has provided well-equipped building, well-equipped library and up-to-date laboratory facilities for Primary, Secondary Ashram schools and Junior college. Personality development, Sports competitions are organized for the continuous development of the students with the goal of holistic development along with their academic development. This has created many such national players. By constructing building with all facilities for Ashram school and Hostel, The institute has provided accommodation and education to the poor boys and girls in the society who are deprived of education.

The institution has arranged excellent accommodation, food and education for the boys and girls belonging to the Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Nomadic Deprived Cadre as well as the destitute boys and girls. Many students of this educational institution today are shining in the field of education, sports, doctors, engineers, lawyers.
Balgruh(Child Home) was started in the year 1992 with the approval of the Commissionerate of Women and Child Development, State of Maharashtra, Pune, keeping in view the need for accommodation, education of orphans and destitute students in the society.

In this way, the organization is constantly striving for the overall development of the deprived boys and girls. Their development is the focus of the organization. Late Ananda Dhondiba Suryawanshi spent his entire life for the overall development of the organization.
